Health and Safety in Hospitality
Module Description
This module covers Health and Safety aspects prevalent in hospitality environments. Students will learn about how to handle incidents and accidents within the workplace and how to identify risks and hazards. It will also explain the roles and responsibilities that exist when working within a hospitality.
Entry Requirements
Candidates who apply for this course must possess the following:
- a qualification at MQF Level 4 (one ‘A’ Level or equivalent in any subject);
AND
- a pass in English Language and Mathematics at MQF Level 3.
Preference is given to applicants having a year of work experience in an area related to this study programme.

- 6 lectures per module;
- 3-hour lectures (evening);
- 12 hours of online content per module, comprising asynchronous online discussions, tutorials and/or videos.
