Risk Based Approach and the Importance of Due Diligence
Module Description
This module will explore how a risk-based approach can be a useful technique to mitigate an organisation’s risk, as well as to minimise nationwide risk. It will provide you with a good understanding of what establishes a customer as high–risk and how to conduct stringent due diligence.
Entry Requirements
Candidates who apply for this course must possess the following:
- a qualification at MQF Level 4 (one A-level or equivalent in any subject);
AND
- a pass in English Language and Mathematics at MQF Level 3 (O-level or equivalent).
Target Audience
This programme is targeted at people within the financial and banking sector, as well as other individuals seeking professional and academic advancement in AML and compliance.
How you’ll be assessed
The method of assessment is assignment-based.
The module comprises
- 6 lectures per module;
- 3-hour lectures (evening);
- 12 hours of online content per module, comprising asynchronous online discussions, tutorials and/or videos.
