Elderly Care Application (Work Placement)
Module Description
To ensure that you are equipped with the knowledge, skills and competences necessary to practice as a competent and professional elderly caregiver, you are required to carry out a work placement in an elderly care setting.
The main goal of the work placement is to provide you with the opportunity to practice and apply what you would have learnt during the programme.
Entry Requirements
- a pass in English Language and Mathematics;
OR
- an MQF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (‘O’ Level or equivalent).
Target Audience
This course is targeted at:
- candidates seeking a career and a formal qualification in elderly care;
- candidates who wish to progress in their studies along the Further and Higher Education route, whilst broadening their chances of advancing in their own career path.
