Module Description
This module delves into the tools to communicate, as well as to motivate and influence the outcome of communication as applicable to elderly care settings.
It aims to provide a learning opportunity allowing you to explore different styles, tools and techniques which could be used for effectively communicating with others on the workplace.
You will explore critical topics such as effective communication, the role of personality and perception in communication, influence and motivation, as well as building and gaining rapport.
Entry Requirements
- a pass in English Language and Mathematics;
OR
- an MQF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (‘O’ Level or equivalent).
Target Audience
This course is targeted at:
- candidates seeking a career and a formal qualification in elderly care;
- candidates who wish to progress in their studies along the Further and Higher Education route, whilst broadening their chances of advancing in their own career path.
