Problem Solving and Decision Making
Module Description
An essential measure of an organisation’s strength is its ability to solve problems and to make the right decisions – no matter how large or small. The scope of this module is to help participants look at problems and opportunities from new and innovative angles by introducing a range of practical techniques and tools applicable to on-going decision making and problem solving in any organisation. Additionally, the course is designed to provide a practical, hands-on experience to participants enabling them to practise making decisions and applying different problem-solving techniques.
Entry Requirements
Candidates who apply for this course must possess a pass in English Language* and Mathematics at MQF Level 3 (‘O’ Level or equivalent).
*Students whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.

This course is targeted at:
- candidates wanting to improve their employability opportunities;
- candidates wanting to progress to higher qualifications in the areas of management.

How you’ll be assessed
You will complete a combination of written and practical assessments, which will vary depending on the module choices you make. You can expect to complete coursework and exams, as well as presentations and reports.

Due to the modular structure of the course, you may also opt to take individual modules as stand-alone. The entry requirements still apply.**
